Eyelid Surgery

Eyes are one of the first and most obvious areas of the face to show signs of aging. Eyelid surgery can dramatically improve the look of your eyes and produce an overall appearance of youthfulness. The outward signs of aging can often be seen initially in and around the eyes. Through the aging process the structural integrity of the eyelid skin and underlying support is lost and fat bulges outward. Downward displacement of this fat can also contribute to “bags” under the eyes. These changes generally begin in the third decade of life and result in wrinkling, decreased eye visibility (or hooding), and loss of vibrancy. The goal of eyelid rejuvenation is to remove the excess skin and possibly some of the underlying fat to produce a more youthful appearing eye without a hollowed look. This procedure can dramatically impact your overall appearance
