An increasing amount of recent graduates are getting plastic surgery to go along with their new diplomas, according to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Patients often come in before or after they graduate high school or college, while others get consultations after they finish medical and law school. Summer vacation is an ideal time to enhance or improve their appearance before embarking on the next chapter in their lives, whether it’s going to college or entering the workforce.
Breast augmentation and rhinoplasty are among the most common plastic surgery procedures among recent grads. More than 3,300 females under the age of 19 had breast augmentation surgery in 2013, which makes for a 64 percent increase compared to the year 2000.
